Announcement : creation of an industrial campus in Beaulieu-sur-Layon

As part of the industrial-scale development of its Accelerated Fossilization process for non-recyclable waste, Néolithe has announced the creation of its 11-hectare industrial campus.

Accompanied by Alter Eco throughout the various stages of this real estate project : from the needs analysis, to technical, legal and operational management, right through to financial backing, the first 4800 m² phase of the first 9500 m² tranche is due to break ground in September 2022, for delivery in July 2023. The first 4,800 m² will be dedicated to the assembly workshop. This will be followed by the 1700 m² laboratory and the 3000 m² head office.

Néolithe is growing !

Accelerated Fossilization transforms non-recyclable, non-inert and non-hazardous waste into usable aggregates for the construction industry.

Néolithe plans to deploy high-capacity plants. This is why the company is creating this new industrial campus covering more than 11 hectares, including, on a first 10-hectare site : 3,000 m² of offices, 1,700 m² of laboratory space and its first Fossilizator assembly unit with a surface area of 4,800 m², financed and managed by Alter Eco for 9,200,000 euros. On a second adjacent plot of over 1 hectare, Néolithe is creating its first binder production unit of over 1,000 m².

« At the beginning of 2022, we passed the 40-employee mark, and we already have new recruitment prospects for the coming months, as we hope to recruit 60 new employees in 2022. Our current premises are spacious enough to enable us to respond to internal growth, while working on the development of our process and our low-carbon binder. However, from next year onwards, we will need to improve our production capacity to meet the targets we have set ourselves. » says Clément Bénassy, Managing Director of Néolithe.

A local presence that contributes to local economic vitality

Convinced that industry has an innate territorial responsibility, particularly in the provinces, Néolithe has, since its creation in 2019, been determined to develop locally, by setting up in the Loire Layon Aubance community of communes, the birthplace of two of the founders, and by participating in the local economic dynamism, particularly in terms of jobs.

« By enabling Néolithe to set up in the best possible conditions, we are supporting the start-up in its ambitious development and guaranteeing that it will be able to create and secure long-term jobs in Maine-et-Loire. » says Gilles Grimaud, Chairman of Alter Eco and Maine-et-Loire Departmental Councillor.
